Russian based new comer Big Black Rat (AKA Valery Rusanov) delivers us a top notch debut EP on Lost Language.
The lead track Axis sits half way between the Trance and Minimal worlds... I know it sounds far fetched, but give it a listen and you will hear the minimal and stripped down grooves merging with the trance rhythms and pads.
Creazot is a more trance electro sound, mixing snappy drums and percussion with juno style sawtooth bass swooshes.
Add in a few whooshes and swoops and there you have it…a fine debut.
