Tilt
"Angry Skies"
After the Tilt digital reissues series, fans see their return with their first 12" of 2007 in the form of Angry Skies.
Originally released way back in 2000, the lads wanted to update it for the floors of today. Providing support are Cressida & Vadim Soloviev.
First up are Tilt themselves with their "Re-Activation Mix". Tight percussion is coupled with vocal blips & stutters. Building synths eventually meet the emotive vocal top line. Bouncy electro trance aimed squarely at the main room floor.
Pogo'ing away is Vadim Soloviev, providing a powerful slab of progressive house.
Sounding not a million miles away from a "Ubik/Der Schieber" mashup and all the better for it. The track twists & turns into a vocal monster. Already recieving a bloody shedload of support, namely from JOOF, Armin & Tiesto.
Cressida keep momentum going with their take on things. Thick bass pads wash over the perc loops. Dark, dirty & driving – namely doing what the Cressida guys do best, and what you'd typically expect from the duo.
