Anthony Yarranton makes a welcome return to EL-EL, having released his 'City of Steel' tribute to Sheffield on LOST162 earlier this year.
'Ingredients for Life' is a much trancier, more uplifting affair, with ascending bass chords and an arpeggiated riff sitting on top of a tough techy kick with plenty of bounce. It's the kind of trance we love at Lost Language HQ, and a beautiful way to end the year.
On remix duties, Cosmithex makes his long overdue return to the camp, with a superb deep and driving rework, complete with trademark acid tweaks and a great use of the spoken 'Ingredients for Life' sample. Exceptional stuff from our Estonian friend.
In spite of all that's been going on, it's been a very positive year for Lost Language, and this is something we're keen to take into 2021 and beyond.
